Some of My Journals

For many years, these books & notebooks have been the things I would grab with all the strength I could muster in the event of a house fire. I've thought about getting a safety deposit box, or finding a fireproof cubby... or any number of things to protect these messy notebooks. Now that I have a baby of my own, I realize that my burning house priorities have changed (yep, the baby wins this one), but that I'd also like to keep the journals in tact somehow, so that he can read them one day, if interested.

I actually wrote the text for a kids book for him earlier this year, but I am not much of an illustrator, so it sits on "my shelf" for at least a little while. May make it into a chapter of the new book. Could tie into some of the themes well.
